• 250,000 for RAMA saxophonist

    27th of November 2017 · tags:

Friday solo class student Anja Nedremo will receive DKR 250,000 from Aennchen and Eigil Harbys Foundation. Each year the Foundation allocates an amount for two particularly talented young musicians from RAMA and from Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium.

The grant will be handed over at a free concert in Lille Sal, Musikhuset Aarhus, Friday, December 1, 7.30 pm, where Nedremo plays music by Jacques Ibert and William Albright. The recipient from DKDM is flutist Joachim Becerra Thomsen, who plays Poulenc and Roussel.

The Foundation's purpose is primarily to award travel grants to support solo class students at DKDM and RAMA. Furthermore, the Fund owns a collection of musical instruments lent to students at the two conservatories.
