In their latest editions both the music schools association's newsletter, "DAMUSA News", and the magazine for music pedagogues, "The Music School", brings a thorough discussion of the "Music and Learning" conference at RAMA in early January 2017.

"The Music School" brings particular mini-reports from three of the workshops at the conference. And the magazine has spoken to several participants on what they take with them. A teacher from Favrskov Music School especially liked the subject of music and marginalization; it is important to open once mouth and say that there is a problem with parallel societies, she says. While a young, newly appointed teacher at the music school in Ringkøbing-Skjern especially was taking concrete educational tools with him from the many workshops in Aarhus.

"DAMUSA News" refers especially from the joint presentations on the first day when there was a focus on Talent. General Secretary of DAMUSA, Nina Ulf Jørgensen, is very pleased that the Academy invites music schools in the academic and pedagogical discussion: "This is a sign that past silo thinking is moving away and that we are to jointly handle the job with raising the quality of the educational practice.”
