Baris Citirikkaya plays clarinet and studies at the International Master's program GLOMAS (Master in global music). He also is head of the festival Roots & Hybrid, which is held as part of the Aarhus Festival in The Turquoise Tent on the square in front of the Concert Hall from August 26 to September 3.

The Turquoise Tent offers modern music with roots in different parts of the world and has been part of the Aarhus Festival since 2010. In 2015 The Turquoise Tent was elected Venue of the Year at the Danish Music Awards World, ahead of regional venues as Atlas in Aarhus and Global in Copenhagen. The number of visitors has through the years steadily increased to over 10,000 visitors during the festival week, and the festival aims to be the Nordic region's largest outdoor festival of music from around the world, from Bulgarian folk songs and dance music from the Balkans to Middle Eastern and African music.

Admission is free all the week. See the program here.
