• GLOMUS Camp in Malaysia

    The annual international Glomus Camp takes place just now in Kuching in Malaysia. The Academy is one of the three Scandinavian founding music academies behind the Glomus network, which currently covers academies in 14 different countries across the globe. The network promotes intercultural communication and knowledge sharing, and organizational and musical interaction and exchange.

    The camp in Malaysia has gathered about 120 students, teachers and administrators from music academies in more than 20 countries, from among others China, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Palestine, Syria, Egypt, Mali and Brazil and several European countries. 9 students and 6 teachers from the Academy are participating. Principal Thomas Winther was among the speakers at the official opening 9 January. The camp ends 18 January.

    The program includes presentations from around the world, jam sessions and other musical exchange and discussion forums about subjects like found raising, entrepreneurship and regional partnerships. Read more.
