The Academy is co-organizer at Aarhus Symphonic Organ Festival from 29 October to 2 November. The festival shows the organ's enormous range, from the great symphonic sound, to solo concerts and to intimate concerts at the Academy.

RAMA Organ professor Ulrik Spang-Hanssen plays Carl Nielsen's big organ piece "Commotio" (1931) on the symphonic organ in Symphony Hall at the Concert Hall on Sunday 2 November at 3 pm. Read more (in Danish).

Furthermore the Academy invites for a number of intimate concerts with a saturated fin de siècle atmosphere in the organ room, 232, where the actress Laura Marie Klindt Nielsen will read Oscar Wilde, Charles Baudelaire and Joris-Karl Huysmann - and praise the decadent creature og Absinth.

Occasionally organ lecturer Lars Rosenlund Nørremark plays driving sentimental and pastel organ music by Richard Wagner, Sigfrid Karg-Elert and Edwin H. Lemare.

There are intimate concerts Thursday at 17 and 22, Friday at 17:45 and Saturday at 17 and 18. Read more (in Danish).
