The course offers networking opportunities and qualifications to apply for a higher education in music and was in 2011 an entirely new option for young people with a non-western cultural background between the ages of approx. 18 to 30.
Students should expect lessons for up to 5 to 6 hours per week, e.g. Ensemble Playing, Piano, IT, Music Theory, and Ear Training.
From 2013/14 the course will be a part of MGK (Music ground course, preparatory courses at music schools) at Aarhus Music School.
In order to be admitted to the course, students must pass an entrance examination, which, among other things,. requires singing or playing on your main instrument, preferably in an ensemble.
