Classical Choir Conducting

The MMus (Classical Choir Conducting) degree at The Royal Academy of Music, is a 2-year study programme (120 ECTS credits) during which students acquire specialized knowledge, skills, and qualifications to become choir and ensemble directors at an advanced level.

Classical Choir Conducting

The course structure has a constant focus on choir and ensemble direction as well as the teaching skills of the two subjects. The degree course concludes with a Masters project that has the character of either a composition or an arrangement. Alternatively it may be linked to the planning and sitting of the Masters exam.

The elements in the course are credited with ECTS points based on an assessment of the workload in the subjects.
