Associate Professor at the Academy Torben Bjørnskov is bass player in the orchestra Nordens Tone. The band has the last three years and by more than 100 concerts in the North explored the intersection between jazz, ballads and folk.
1st November Nordic Tone releases a new CD, Septentrio.

Grammy-winning Jullie Hjetland is in front with her vocal on eight different Nordic languages. Her background is folk music, but in Nordens Tone she is along with three seasoned jazz musicians; besides Bjørnskov it is sax player Hans Mydtskov and pianio player Pojken Flensburg.
