Composition Student Henrik Budde will the 1st September get two works performed at the Setouchi Triennial in Japan - a festival of contemporary art, which is held every three years on a small archipelago. Previously saxophone student at the Royal Academy of Music, Kazuya Kato, has taken the two pieces to the festival in Japan.

"Colours of That Night" was written for and premiered by JUTLANDIA Saxophone Quartet in the winter of 2012 and "Flash of That Night" was ordered by the Norwegian saxophonist Erik Nerheim and along with 67 other composers miniature works premiered on 2 June 2013 in Oslo.

Among the other contributors in Oslo was another composition student at the Royal Academy of Music, Allan grave Madsen - who by a strange coincidence also the 1st September gets his first performence of the piece "Schattentanz" at Suså Festival in Næstved. The work is played by the ensemble Lydenskab, consisting of former Academy-students; the ensemble is planning to play Gravgaard Madsen's piece several times during the season.
