• Significant expansion of vocal studies faculty

    23rd of November 2018 · tags:

Former Assistant Professor Bodil Øland retired as a permanent employee at RAMA in the summer of 2018, but is still associated with the Academy as classical vocal teacher, now as honorary professor.

In this connection, the vocal studies faculty was expanded with two distinct names from the international opera scene: Danish soprano Henriette Bonde-Hansen and Cuban-American tenor Reinaldo Macias. Bonde-Hansen is one of Denmark's leading sopranos, with a flourishing, virtuoso voice and a great international career. Both Bonde-Hansen and Macias have performed in opera houses and concert halls across Europe and several places in Asia and America.

In addition to Øland and the two new teachers, Ass. Professor Lars Thodberg Bertelsen continues his long-standing work as a vocal teacher at the Academy.
