• Entrepreneurial thinking at RAMA

    24th of November 2017 · tags:

As the only Danish educational institution, the Academy is developing and testing a new web-based platform for e-learning and entrepreneurship. This happens in connection with Renew, a 2-year project under the EU Erasmus + education program, which will make students better able to create a way of living and with their musical competencies be relevant to the surrounding community, even though it may involve other tasks than to play.

The collaboration on entrepreneurial thinking includes the conservatories in The Hague, Oslo and Helsinki, as well as the Guildhall Conservatory in London and the European Music Conservatory's Association, AEC. The ambition is to get all European art educations to integrate entrepreneurial thinking into their daily work.

In the coming week, from 27th to 30th of November, RAMA in Aarhus will host the 2nd bootcamp in the project, where students from all the partnership conservatories meet and work with entrepreneurship projects. There will be guidance from external experts, including a development manager from LEGO. At the same time, the Academy hosts a competency development day on the same subject for conservatory teachers from across the Nordic region.

More about the project in a new publication (in Danish) from the Ministry of Education and Research (p. 26 ff).
