    A new article in the online magazine Publimus is dealing with German writer Thomas Mann's relationship to Richard Wagner. The article was written by Niels Bille Hansen, cand. mag. in Danish and German and co-founder of the Danish Thomas Mann Society.

    Mann had a passionate relationship with music, which also characterized his literary works. And Wagner is obviously the composer who has meant most to him. But his attitude towards Wagner changes constantly during the dramatic changes in German history and the development of his own writing.
