• RAMA portraits in "Basunen"

    28th of June 2017 · tags:

In the latest issue of "Basunen" from the Danish Musicians Association in Aarhus there are two major portrait articles, about the Academy band Lowly, and about Academy sound engineer Thomas Qvist.

Thomas Qvist talks about his extensive work with sound technology in Aarhus music life, including in the legendary Gnags studio "Genlyd". And about working at the Academy, about the transition from analogue to digital sound and about his interest in vintage equipment.

Lowly tells how they started almost as a coincidence because of some free weeks at the Academy. Since then a lot has happened, with performances at SPOT, at Roskilde, at a fashion shows and in England. Read the magazine online (in Danish).
