• Organ Festival with Academy touch

    Both students and teachers from The Academy are participating at Aarhus Symphonic Organ Festival from 10th. To 20 November.

    At the opening concert today, Thursday, repeated Friday, is Aarhus Symphony Orchestra expanded by 25 students from the Academy. They play a symphony for organ and orchestra by Charles-Marie Widor and Richard Strauss' Also Sprach Zarathustra. The soloist, French Eric Lebrun, at the same time becomes honorary professor at the Academy.

    Also Academy lecturer Lars Nørremark plays along with soprano Signe Asmussen at 4 "Organ saloons" in the organ room 10 and 17 November at 10 pm and 11 and 18 November at 6 pm. And organ professor Ulrik Spang-Hanssen plays a concert with Randers Chamber Orchestra and with the violin lecturer Mo Yi on Wednesday 16 November at 7:30 pm in Symphonic Hall, Concert Hall Aarhus. This concert is repeated at Værket in Randers 18 November.
