    2nd of November 2016 · tags:

KUV stands for “Kunstnerisk Udviklingsvirksomhed” (Artistic Development) and includes projects such as composing new music, recording of rare works, development of new concert forms, etc. KUV projects must have a high news value and be accompanied by a reflection on the result.

Friday 5 November the first KUV festival will be held for all Danish arts schools. Here a wide range of KUV projects from different arts schools will be presented in the form of concerts, stage productions and lectures. From the Academy professor Wayne Siegel participates with his project: Conducting sound in Space. Also piano lecturer Søren Rastogi will participate; he also teaches at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, where he completed the KUV project: FormingPerforming.

The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen hosts the festival, which will run from 12 am to 5 pm. The festival is open to all interested, admission is free.
