• Oticon supports brain research

    The company Oticon has donated DK-KR 200,000 to a research project at Music in the Brain, which will examine how different types of sound processing can improve music experience for hearing impaired through cochlear implant.

    Professor Peter Vuust and postdoc Bjørn Petersen are attached to the project. Both are also lectures at the Academy; Music in the Brain is an interdisciplinary research center, where the Academy also is involved. Bjørn Petersen has been doing extensive research on the use of cochlear implant.
