    World leading publisher of academic literature, the American Routledge, has just released the anthology: "Globally Networked Teaching in the Humanities - Theories and Practices". The book provides both an overview and some practical examples of new international web-based learning environments within the human and social sciences.

    Vocal lecturer at the Academy , Associate Professor Turid Nørlund Christensen, is one of the two main authors of a chapter entitled "Jazz, Constructionism, and Music Composition: Building Cultural Competencies in a Global Classroom through the Performing Arts". It tells about The Academy's experiences with eLearning in music at long distances, specifically with partners in South Africa and the United States.
