Danish National Opera is currently on tour with Puccini's La Boheme. The production has received great reviews including from Jyllands Posten, Kristeligt Dagblad and Nordjyske Stiftstidende.

Basbaryton Simon Duus, who is soloist student at the Academy, is participating in this fully professional opera production in the role of the philosopher Colline, one of Rodolpho's three bohemian friends. Several reviewers adheres precisely at the friends' performance; Politiken writes about Møller and Duus that they deliver enthusiastic commedy, and Aarhus Stiftstidende writes that all three were very well with good character drawing and matching nuanced singing. And the former JP reviewer John Christiansen writes on his blog: "Simon Duus convinced largely with a beautiful expressive bass farewell song to his coat, which was to be sold to buy medicine for Mimi". See the full review here (in Danish).

The production is the next three days in Odense, then in Esbjerg, Kolding and Sønderborg. The production comes to Aarhus 13-16 November. Read the performance plan here.
