Dina Christiansen is rhythmic vocal student at RAMA. Along with Andrew Bevan, she stands in front as singer and songwriter in the new band Northern Assembly, who now publishes their debut EP after a successful crowdfunding campaign on boomerang.dk. The release party will be at Granhøj Dans in Aarhus on Friday 24 October from 8.00 pm.

The band name refers to that the two leading figures throughout their childhood has lived in England, Faroe Islands and Norway - and even in Ethiopia. Their songs tell of homesickness and longing and searching for hope and a haunt of life. The duo is backed up by former Academy students Jesper Smalbro and Jens Hedegaard.

The genre is folk, with guitar, mandolin, bass and delicious choral pieces. It's intimate, acoustic and present. Northern Assembly has over the past year held countless living room concerts in private homes. Here you can feel the singer's breath and guitar strings jitter.
