Distance learning is a central part of the new diploma and master programme Rhythmic Choir Conducting. Half of the students are from Norway, and the Adobe Connect system has been a great help. Every student has her own virtual classroom where videos, notes, feedback and so on can be shared.

"Statens Kunstfond" has donated kr. 100.000 to the Academys department for electronic music, DIEM. The amount should be used for 10 new electronic compositions, to mark the 25 years aniversary of DIEM in 2012.
